Hi, I am Lucy Weigle, creator of contemporary artworks. I enjoy painting with several different mediums, each with its own purpose: watercolor and pastel portraits, oil landscapes and acrylic/mixed media non objective paintings. My hope is that viewers will consider me versatile rather that one who cannot make up her mind what she wants to do. I love it all, especially creating large abstract works. I have been an artist most of my life, having received a degree in art education at Auburn University. I taught private lessons for a number of years, but am now concentrating on strictly painting.
